Field Sports & Taxidermy

As a passionate member of the field sports fraternity, Charles Hartley is our lead valuer and driver of this section. It comes twice a year alongside the arms & militaria section and includes Sporting shotguns and rifles, antique fishing equipment, modern high quality fishing equipment, taxidermy, natural history items and the fantastic length and breadth of ephemera which can be found within the topic. You are just as likely to see a colourful collection of antique salmons flies, as a modern Hardy rod or a stuffed fox dressed in his finest waistcoat.

All licensed firearms are dealt with within current UK legislation in connection with West Yorkshire Firearms Department and Charles is available for house visits to value such items if you are not comfortable traveling to us with them.
