Mayne", the raised back with applied cast gilt brass scroll angles enclosing stationery compartments, the writing slope with original dark red velvet skiver, one gilt brass hinge engraved with maker's name "MAQUET, B de S.M. Ch?, 26 Rue de la Paix, Paris", 14 1/4" wide
