AN EDWARDIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS SILVER LARGE DESK STANDISH, maker John Edward Wilmot, Birmingham 1909, the plain oblong base centred by a triple compartment stamp box, the hinged cover engraved with an extensive presentation inscription dated 1909, flanked by a pair of heavy clear glass inkwells with silver mounts and hinged covers, a pen well to the fore with entrelac angles and two applied pierced trefoil handles, the whole with "rivetted" mounts, encasing a probably wood core, 22" wide over handles (Illustrated) (Est. plus 21% premium inc.
