KENNETH HOLMES, Sketchbook, small folio lettered in gilt to the spine 'Animal Studies' 'K.H', signed 'Kenneth Holmes' to the flyleaf. The book contains several dozen animal studies, in pencil and pen and ink, many dated to the mid 1920s, some executed directly onto the pages of this book and some tipped in from other sources. Holmes (1902-1994) was born in Skipton and studied at the Royal College of Art achieving a measure of success (Est. plus 17.5% premium)
