FIVE CAST BRASS SUBMARINE BADGES, circa 1945, for the HMS Amphion, HMS Anchorite, HMS Auriga, HMS Tireless and HMS Artemis, all cast in brass, painted and mounted on wood plaques, all approximately 9" excluding the plaques Provenance: Brought to us by the daughter of Chief Petty Officer Frank Rider who served in the Royal Navy aboard HMS Montclare who produced cast brass ship badges during his time in charge of the ship's foundry. Copies of the provenance and photographs of his time served are provided as part of the lot.
