OF POLITICAL INTEREST, Rufus Daniel Isaacs (1800-1935) later Marquess of Reading (1926) - an Edward VII "H M Solicitor General" black leather despatch case by Wikwar & Co., Jermyn St., 18" x 12" x 5 1/2", and a George V "Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs" red leather despatch case by D H M Statty of Op...(?) and retailed by John Peck & Co., 15 1/4" x 10 1/4" , 5 1/2" high, both with embossed gilt ciphers and titles and inset brass handle to the top and a loop carrying handle (2) (Illustrated) N.B.
