A SCOTTISH GEORGE III FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker Fraser Howden, Edinburgh 1790 (sugar basket 1792), bright cut engraved with rosette bands enclosing roundels, comprising oval teapot, the flat hinged cover with pineapple finial and fruitwood loop handle, the roundels engraved "EH" and one with rubbed-out armorial, eliptical teapot stand with rubbed-out armorial, pedestal milk jug (loaded) with vacant roundel, a pedestal sugar basket with swing handle and two vacant roundels and sugar tongs (no date letter) with rubbed out engraving, teapot 11 1/4" wide, 30ozs 6dwts total gross excluding jug (Illustrated)
