A SUNDERLAND PEARLWARE FROG MUG, c.1830, of plain cylindrical form printed in underglaze black and naively overpainted in colours with "The Mariner's Compass" within pink lustre bands, 4 1/2" high, together with a similar baluster jug printed with "The Sailor's Fairwell" (sic) compass and verse within pink splash lustre bands, 7 1/4" high (2)
