A CRIMEAN WAR PENWORK CANE, with carved beast's head to the top, penwork serpent to the grip, military crest, royal coat of arms overlaid by Victoria's head, followed by seven scenes depicting battle on foot, mounted, naval and civil scenes all but one annotated beneath, inscribed as follows: "Captn Crosse of the 88th Defending himself against the Russians at the battle of Inkerman"; "British Light Cavalry atacking (sic) the Russians at the Battle of Balaclava" made famous as the charge of the Light Brigade, "Sir George Cathcart" beneath the penwork scene depicting his famous final charge at the age of 60; "Admiral Sir E Lyons in the Agamemnon Atacking (sic) Fort Constantine"; and "Omar Pacha (sic)" (Omer Pasha, the famous Ottoman Field Marshall and commander in the Crimea), 34 1/2"long (Est. plus 21% premium inc.
