A CREAM SILK PRINTED "WELCOMING" SCROLL from the "Members of the Kshattriya Samiti", with inked inscriptions and dated August 1929, with gold thread fringing, 24 1/2" x 11 1/2", contained in a lined wood cylinder with landscape and figural chased white metal ends, 15" long, cased (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT) This is part of a collection of scrolls awarded to Sir Francis Stanley Jackson (Governor of Bengal) of Chapel Allerton, Leeds.
