PAPER SCROLL from the "Members of the Dooars Planters Association", 15" x 10", contained in a lined ebonised wood cylinder with metal ends and plaque engraved with undated inscription, 18" long (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT) This is part of a collection of scrolls awarded to Sir Francis Stanley Jackson (Governor of Bengal) of Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Soldier, Politician and Cricketer (played twenty Test Matches 1893-1905 scoring 1415 runs including five centuries)
