A MUGHAL GARLAND, mid 19th century, the red silk shield shaped panel embroidered in gilt wire and sequins with a stylised flower and hung with a tassel with a green glass bead, the silvered thread "chain" with two further rosette spacers, shield 3 3/4" wide, together with a note dated 1922 stating this garland was given by Sir Salar Jung of Niaam at a dinner in Hyderabad in 1864 (2) (Est. plus 18% premium inc.
