TWO GERMAN FAIENCE STEINS, mid 18th century, one of cylindrical form painted in manganese, blue and yellow with a barque beside a small pontoon and a man smoking a pipe, on a sponged manganese ground, the hinged pewter cover engraved "JDM", 8" high over thumbpiece, the other of slight barrel form painted in manganese with a motto "Es Sieve mein..." with a blue line quatrefoil border on sponged ground, with plain hinged pewter cover, 8 1/4" high (Est. plus 21% premium inc.
