A REGENCY ENGLISH LACQUERED WORK BOX, c.1810, of sarcophagus form, painted in gilt and red with a pair of chinoiserie children at play by a fence with pagodas beyond, with gilt metal ring handles stamped as a pair of cornucopia and raised upon four ball feet, the cover hinged and opening to reveal the original pink paper and silk lined interior with fitted lift out compartment, 8 1/2" x 6", 4 3/4" high, together with a collection of contemporary accoutrements including six mother of pearl "bobbins" and two spools
