A SMALL PART FINISHED ENGLISH EMBROIDERED DOUBLE PANEL, late 17th/early 18th Century, worked in half cross stitch and a chenille type stitch with branches of oak leaves and acorns and other flowering branches in fine wool on a linen ground in shades of green, blue, yellow and cream, one panel effectively finished, the other third finished but with inked pattern, 10 3/4" x 5 1/2", sewn on to a green velvet backing on stretchers, unframed, 13" x 8" overall
